Snippets

Sorry about the absence of posts everyone but I thought I'd tell you what I'm up to.
I've recently started writing for an online magazine called Snippets from an amazing modern crafting site,Cut Out + Keep, the magazine usually writes on a variety of topics not just crafts so there is definitely something for everybody. My last article I wrote for the magazine was the "Top 10 Tips to get Organised", I probably should actually use some of the advice I gave :)

Yesterday I spent the morning writing my second article for an upcoming issue with the theme "Summer Holidays". You'll have to wait and see what the article is about but I will give you one clue, it's to do with food.

Daffodil

My mum was given this daffodil bulb at her choir, each member received their own; isn't that nice?! It looks cute already, maybe we'll plant it this weekend, on Mother's day. I'll show you what I'm giving my mum for mother's day a bit later too.

A picture means a thousand words

I'll give you all another hint about myself and that is that I like picture books. Not just any pictures books but ones with breathtaking illustrations that you could just stare at for hours on end, one's that have a hint of life from the past, vintage children's picture books would have to be my absolute favourite. I just find them so amazing and all the detail and colour used makes them just magic. Here is a picture of one of my favourites, a french picture book translated into english: Around the World with Mouk By Marc Boutavant
